U.S. floods with COVID-infected illegals. New, more lethal strains of COVID along with other highly infectious diseases continue to flood into overcrowded detention centers at the US southern border with no end in sight.
Yet, Dr. Anthony Fauci, a top US health official regarding COVID, claims, “I have nothing to do with the border,” when challenged by alarmed members of Congress. The response from the Centers of Disease Control chief Rochelle Wollensky has so far been limited to a weeping, “…I’m scared.” President Biden and Vice President Harris remain conspicuously absent regarding the border crisis as the U.S. floods with COVID-infected illegals.
Harris spokespersons have said the VP is countermanding Biden’s directive that she handle the border crisis, saying she is, “….not doing the border.”
Ignoring the apparent gaping breach in preventive quarantine at the southern border as the U.S. floods with COVID-infected illegals, there ia s vacuum of leadership on the issue. CNN quoted without comment Fauci’s current public health recommendation, “A, you keep pushing down and doubling down on public health measures and B, you do whatever you can to get as many people vaccinated as quickly and as expeditiously as possible.”
Extending Covid quarantine to infected migrants was not mentioned. Neither were measures to test migrants for diseases or secure valid identification and residence information for future contact tracing. In effect, border detention centers have become unregulated, unlimited, and highly effective incubation, transmission, and distribution vectors for all types of infectious diseases. This is the reason that the U.S. floods with COVID-infected illegals.
“Tens of thousands of Americans are likely to die because of that open border, ” estimates author and economist Dr. Peter Navarro. Navarro designed the early border closure strategy under the Trump administration.
